Unlimited document creation with with Vanilla Document Builder™
Last year we announced that we would begin to offer on-demand documents using Vanilla Document Builder as part of our complete Estate Advisory Platform. Last month, we brought our 50th state online. And now we are proud to include unlimited estate document creation at no additional cost to you in our Advisor Advanced and Planner licenses. Now you can offer your clients a modern on-demand basic trust package or essentials package (power-of-attorney) at no additional cost to you. If you have clients that need new documents (or you yourself need new documents), we invite you to use Vanilla Document Builder. If you are a customer, reach out to your account team to turn on this feature. If you are interested in talking to sales, please reach out.
Also available in Vanilla Document Builder is the ability for your clients to make any necessary changes to their selections in the questionnaire. Previously entered information will be saved and can be adjusted with the exception of spousal information. Making changes to documents is free of charge if the advisor has a Vanilla subscription – the client can easily print their updated documents at home, or have them professionally printed and shipped for a fee. Your clients can rest assured that with any life changes, their estate planning documents can be adjusted quickly.
To empower clients to make informed planning decisions, we’ve also included helpful educational videos featuring a licensed estate planning attorney in the Basic Trust Package questionnaire. Your clients can learn about important estate planning concepts, get answers to common planning questions, and feel confident when making selections in the questionnaire.
Show clients an intuitive and personalized overview of their plan with Plan Snapshot
To help your clients quickly understand their estate plan, we created Plan Snapshot, an enhanced rendering of the estate diagram. The nodes of the diagram combine funding, beneficiary, and fiduciary information to show how assets flow through the estate, all with editable diagram notes. The Plan Snapshot will also be available as a page in the PDF report and serve as a powerful deliverable for your clients. With family, financial, and plan information captured in one intuitive snapshot, you can have more informed conversations with your clients about their planning goals.
We’re also excited to announce that soon more planning information will be available to you in the PDF report prior to a document abstraction. The Waterfall diagram and transfer tax information will be available with minimal balance sheet information or with the entry of any intestate assets. The Beneficiaries page will also be available with the naming of just one beneficiary in an account or life insurance policy.
Easily add assets and accounts from eMoney to the balance sheet
When adding financial information to a client’s balance sheet, you can upload financial information from eMoney with a CSV import. We’ve made it easy to build a balance sheet from scratch or add to any existing information that you’ve already captured. In seconds you can import account level-only data or accounts with the respective assets data from eMoney to build a complete financial picture for your client.
